It's been a week and we still hadn't talked about our excursion to
Salón Look Internacional, a professional beauty fair held in Madrid at the end of September.
The truth is that we needed to assimilate so many things; it was a real paradise for any nail artist and anyone who likes personal care products. There we found two pavilions packed with stands from specialized brands, which made our walk a delight. We also learned a lot from the explanations they gave us at each stop we made.
Today we're showing you one of the polishes that came home with us,
Lilas Pailleté by
Peggy Sage. The French brand had set up a "mini" store in their space where you could find many of their products of the
high quality we've come to expect from them.
We fell in love with this versatile color and liked it even more when we saw how good it looked.
Lilas Pailleté, while very subtle due to its
nude shade, has a very original touch of
shimmer. You can see a very fine shimmer that gives it shine, and another slightly larger and more irregular shimmer in
lilac. It's also worth noting that it dries very quickly; we applied three coats and had no problems, unlike with other polishes.
As a tip, it's important to apply a darker base coat to get more out of it, as it's not too opaque.
It's a wonderful product that looks great for everyday wear and causes no problems with matching. We also inform you that for a few months now, Madrid has an official brand store where you can find all the brand's products at c/ Alcalá nº 184, in the Ventas neighborhood.
